- S: For dogs with a wither height of up to 19.7 In. (Example breeds: Beagle, Cocker Spaniel)
- M and M Compact: For dogs with a wither height of up to 22.4 In. (Example breeds: Border Collie, Australian Shepherd)

1. Depth:
Measure from the back of your rear seats to the end of the trunk floor. If you have a hatchback or SUV, also check where the trunk door starts to slope in.
2. Height:
Measure from the trunk floor to the lowest point of the door, hatch, or ceiling. Watch out for low-hanging edges that could block the crate.
3. Threshold height:
Does your trunk have a raised edge (threshold)? Thule Allax fits thresholds up to 1.57 inches.
