1. Terms of Sale
THIS DOCUMENT CONTAINS VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING YOUR RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS, AS WELL AS CONDITIONS, LIMITATIONS, AND EXCLUSIONS THAT MIGHT APPLY TO YOU. PLEASE READ IT CAREFULLY.

These terms and conditions (these “Terms of Sale”) apply to the purchase and sale of products and services through the website, www.thule.com, and all its subdomains as well as mobile applications, owned, operated or maintained by Thule (collectively the “Website”). These Terms of Sale are subject to change by Thule, Inc. (referred to as “us”, “we”, or “our” as the context may require) without prior written notice at any time, in our sole discretion. Any changes to the Terms of Sale will be in effect as of the “Last Updated Date” referenced on this page. You should review these Terms of Sale prior to purchasing any product or services that are available through the Website. Your continued use of the Website after the “Last Updated Date” will constitute your acceptance of and agreement to such changes.

These Terms of Sale are an integral part of the Website’s Terms of Use that apply generally to the use of our Website. You should also carefully review our Privacy Policy before placing an order for products or services through the Website.

2. Order Acceptance and Cancellation
You agree that your order is an offer to buy, under these Terms of Sale, all products and services listed in your order. All orders must be accepted by us or we will not be obligated to sell the products or services to you. We may choose not to accept orders at our sole discretion, even after we send you a confirmation email with your order number and details of the items you have ordered.

3. Prices and Payment Terms
All prices, discounts, and promotions posted on the Website are subject to change without notice. The price charged for a product or service will be the price in effect at the time the order is placed and will be set out in your order confirmation email. Price increases will only apply to orders placed after such changes. Posted prices do not include taxes or charges for shipping and handling. All such taxes and charges will be added to your merchandise total, and will be itemized in your shopping cart and in your order confirmation email. We strive to display accurate price information, however we may, on occasion, make inadvertent typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions related to pricing and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions at any time and to cancel any orders arising from such occurrences.

We may offer from time to time promotions on the Website that may affect pricing and that are governed by terms and conditions separate from these Terms of Sale. If there is a conflict between the terms for a promotion and these Terms of Sale, the promotion terms will govern.

Terms of payment are within our sole discretion and, unless otherwise agreed by us in writing, payment must be received by us before our acceptance of an order. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express credit cards, together with Afterpay and PayPal for all purchases. You represent and warrant that (i) the credit card information you supply to us is true, correct and complete, (ii) you are duly authorized to use such credit card for the purchase, (iii) charges incurred by you will be honored by your credit card company, and (iv) you will pay charges incurred by you at the posted prices, including shipping and handling charges and all applicable taxes, if any, regardless of the amount quoted on the Website at the time of your order.

4. Shipping
We will arrange for shipment of the products to you. Please check the individual product page for specific delivery options. You will pay all shipping and handling charges specified during the ordering process. Shipping and handling charges are reimbursement for the costs we incur in the processing, handling, packing, shipping, and delivery of your order.

5. Returns and Refunds
Thule takes quality seriously when it comes to both our products and our service to our customers. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return your product in its original packaging within 30 days of the purchase date for a refund. For any damaged or defective products, please consult our Thule Guarantee

For items purchased on www.thule.com, please read the following information:

  • Returns and refunds are only accepted from items purchased via www.thule.com.
  • Items must be returned within 30 days of purchase, in new condition, with the packing slip, in original packaging, and with all included accessories.
  • Free shipping: Thule will provide a pre-paid UPS label for all www.thule.com returns.
  • Original shipping charges are not refundable.
  • Your credit card will be credited for the invoice price. Your credit will appear after Thule has received and processed your return through our return procedure.
  • Please allow 3-5 business days for our warehouse to process your returned package(s) upon arrival and an additional 5-10 business day for the credit to appear on your card.
  • Cargo boxes, rooftop tents, bike travel cases, awnings, keys, locks and spare parts are not eligible for our return guarantee. If you want personal attention or have any additional questions, please contact us directly.
  • Return an item by following the instructions below.

*For items purchased more than 30 days ago from www.thule.com, please contact us directly.
**For items not purchased at www.thule.com, please contact the purchase location to review their return policy and procedure.

Return Instructions:
Step 1 – Login to your order history at www.thule.com to initiate a return using our online returns form.
Step 2 – Check your email for a message from customer service containing your pre-paid shipping label.
Step 3 – Securely pack the item(s) you’re returning in the original shipping cartons with original packaging and the packing slip.
Step 4 - Take the package(s) to any UPS dropoff location.
Step 5 – Check your bank statement for a credit within 5-10 business days. Please allow for 3-5 business days to process your return once it’s arrived in our warehouse.

6. Warranties
All purchases through our site are governed by our Thule Guarantee, which are hereby incorporated into these Terms of Sale.

7. Buyers Guide Disclaimer
The Thule “Buyer’s Guide” on the Website and any outcome thereof, is supplied solely as a service, for information purposes only, and does not contain any advice or recommendation that may be relied upon as the basis for any decision or action. All data and information supplied through the “Buyer’s Guide” derive from testing of Thule products on specific third party products. Technical components and performance quality etc. of such third party products and parts thereof may at any time following the Thule testing be altered (without the involvement or knowledge of Thule). Consequently, neither Thule nor any company associated with Thule shall (unless otherwise explicitly provided for under mandatory legislation) be liable for property damage or personal injury caused by the use of a Thule product which deviates from any instruction guide or user manual that (i) accompanies the Thule product at purchase thereof or (ii) applies to the product(s) on which the Thule product shall be fitted on or used together with. Prior to the use of each Thule product, Thule encourages you to thoroughly read each such instruction guide or user manual.

8. Goods Not for Resale or Export
You represent and warrant that you are buying products or services from the Website for your own personal or household use only, and not for resale or export. You further represent and warrant that all purchases are intended for final delivery to locations within the US.

9. Applicable Law; Jurisdiction
These Terms of Sale and any disputes arising under or related to these Terms of Sale will be governed by the laws in effect in the State of Connecticut, without reference to its conflicts of law principles. Any legal actions, suits or proceedings arising out of these Terms of Sale will be brought exclusively in the Connecticut state or federal courts, as applicable, located in Fairfield County, and Thule and you hereby accept and submit to the personal jurisdiction of these Connecticut courts with respect to any legal actions, suits or proceedings arising out of these Terms of Sale. Thule and you also waive to the fullest extent permitted by law any right to a trial by jury in any action, suit or proceeding brought to enforce, defend or interpret any right or remedies under, or arising in connection with or relating to, these Terms of Sale.

10. Get a free Gift! Campaigns
Get a free Gift! Campaigns
The "Get a free Gift!" campaign only applies to stated models and colors. Once you've added an eligible model to your cart, the free gift will automatically be added. The campaign is active while stocks last or until stated campaign period is over. It is not possible to return the free gift and we only allow one free gift per order placed. "Get a free Gift!" is not combinable with PROdeal codes or discount codes.
