Everything's great except the wind deflector...

The basket itself is great! I love the black powder coating, the durability and the sleek design. I don't love the mounting brackets and think for the price the could be nicer, but they work. My big problem is the wind deflector. 1. It doesn't fit properly, causing warping in the sun and wind. 2. The plastic is much flimsier than Yakima, causing flapping at higher speeds. 3. Today two of the screws and washers fell out (probably due to the flapping of the flimsy plastic in the wind). Overall I really do like the basket. I just wish Thule had better ideas for their wind deflector. If it had been metal or even more durable plastic, I would've gladly paid a little more. Even if there were upgrade options for the wind deflector, I would do it in a heart beat...

Have not owned long enough to decide.

Can't provide detailed review since plastic fairing carriage bolts were not supplied. Owned Yakima Load-warrior in past and will say the wind fairing on Yakima is designed better.

Good attractive design

Terribly vague instructions that don't explain things in a step by step manner. There are no words or actual pictures of it on a real car, just line drawings. They give you hardware for different types of setups but do not explain why you should use one over the other.Nothing in the instructions about installing it on to factory roof rack either, they assume you have the aftermarket roof rails but advertise it to fit on factory roof racks. I know im not reviewing the actual product here but i think its important to have good instructions when you describe it as an "easy to install item". Imagine how catastrophic a failure of the install could be on the highway.
