Return policy


Thule takes quality seriously when it comes to both our products and our service to our customers. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return your product in its original packaging within 30 days of the delivery date for a refund. For any damaged or defective products, please consult our Thule Guarantee. 


For items purchased on Thule.com, please read the following information:

  • Returns and refunds are only accepted on items purchased via Thule.com.
  • Items must be returned within 30 days of delivery date, in new condition, with the packing slip, in original packaging, and with all included accessories.
  • Free shipping: Thule will provide a pre-paid UPS label for all Thule.com returns.
  • Original shipping charges are not refundable.
  • Your credit card will be credited for the invoice price. Your credit will appear after Thule has received and processed your return through our return procedure.
  • Please allow 3-5 business days for our warehouse to process your returned package(s) upon arrival and an additional 5-10 business days for the credit to appear on your card.
  • Cargo boxes, bike travel cases, Tepui rooftop tents, awnings, Thule TracRac Universal Steel Rack, keys, locks, spare parts and discounted orders are not eligible for our return guarantee. If you want personal attention or have any additional questions, please contact us directly.
  • Return an item by following the instructions below.

Return instructions

Follow the 5 steps below to complete your return:

  1. Use our online return form to initiate a return with our Customer Service team.
  2. Check your email for a message from Customer Service containing your pre-paid shipping label.
  3. Securely pack the item(s) you’re returning in the original shipping cartons with original packaging and the packing slip.
  4. Take the package(s) to any UPS dropoff location.
  5. Please allow 3-5 business days for our warehouse to process your returned package(s) upon arrival and an additional 5-10 business days for the credit to appear on your card.
