Top compartment bad quality

Exactly like one other reviewer said: "The top compartment seams are barely glued together, with no reinforcement" Τhe bag is very ergonomic and in general and well made but the internal parts are made in china and the quality is bad compared to other bags at the same price range of almost 200$. Mine was also broken internally after only a couple of months with very little use

Great travel bag

I bought this bag because my Lowepro photosport 200 was not large enough for my camera gear. I travelled for nearly 3 weeks with this bag and it was able to hold my Sony A7R and a6000, either with the 70-200f4 and/or 18-105f4 fitted side by side, plus 3 smaller lenses. The shoulder straps are comfortable but the hip belt is a bit ineffective because it is difficult to tighten up - the Lowepro is better in this respect. Like another reviewer, I had the top compartment joints come apart days after purchase ehen I was taking it out. This part is really badly constructed compared to the rest of the bag - because I was due to travel in 4 days I simply used duct tape and taped it up! I'm glad I did this because I had no issues at all after this. Having this top compartment zip open is more accessible than the Lowepro, especially because thus bag will stand up on its own because of the flat reinforced bottom. I changed the blue zip pulls for grey ones off my other bag. Top zip picket worked well for batteries. Side pocket is OK for thin items but the drink bottle makes it less useful in my opinion. The bag is water resistant and the cover works well in heavy rain, but the bottom of the bag did get damp fron putting it down. It did dry quickly. Overall, I am really glad that I had to keep the bag following the top compartment failing - it is better than my old bag in just about every way.

Pack Will Break. Do Not Buy

My first of these backpacks broke in 2 weeks. After returning and thinking it to be a fluke, the second back broke in the same exact location. The top compartment seams are barely glued together, with no reinforcement. If you plan on accessing your laptop, or storing anything in the top, this will likely break the seams, and render the top compartment useless. I really wish this part didnt break, as I love the bag otherwise, but for the price, is not ok for it to break so quickly
