    Great Chariot

    5

I have owned this Thule for a year now and thoroughly put it through its passes. This is well built and rugged piece of equipment. Here are some key points/questions I had when purchasing that I have since answered. 1) Q: is it too big? A: No. I have found it easy to put in our truck and Honda Fit. We use it to walk our one-year-old to store and it is easy to get around the isles. 2) Q: Does it track well when running? A: Mostly. If you are only jogging with one kid I think the Urban Glide is better...but the Chariot 2 does have the adjustment so you can get it to track. Just takes a little work. 3) Q: Do I need it if I have an Urban Glide, will I get the use out of it? A: If you bike, Yes. If you have one kid and do not bike or ski than single Urban Glide is probably better. 4) Q: Will my infant be safe in the sling? A: I found my baby to be very snug and secure while running or riding. We kept her in the sling until around 7-8 months. 5) Q: Does it get too hot in there? A: Air flow can be an issue, especially with the rain fly on. I did purchase a battery powered fan to help circulate air. 6) Q: How easily/well does it handle behind a bike. A: It is super easy to set up and move between bikes. Super easy to move from bike to stroller. Super smoother when riding. Had no issues.

    Great stroller/bike trailer

I love the Chariot Lite 2 as a stroller as it's very easy to push and manoeuvre. I also bought the jogging wheel, but haven't used it yet. The double organizer sport (cup holder), isn't really worth the splurge. It's quite shallow and my water bottle doesn't sit very snuggly. It's fallen out on a few occasions. The handlebar is adjustable which is great, but mine already shows signs of significant wear after less than 2 months. There are tears and rips in the handlebar material even though it's stored indoors and we are very careful.

Light and Easy to put together and travel with. Both kids fall asleep often in it when going. Haven't tried with the bike yet as I have a five month old but so far love it. Best feature with being 5'9" the adjustable handle. Love that feature. The other feature I love is the screen and clear cover to keep the bugs and rain out so I can still go but the kids are dry and happy and not eaten by the mosquitoes or black fly's.
