WORKS AMAZING FOR FAT BIKES!

By

from St. Cloud, MN

Comments about Thule T2 Pro XT:

I had been researching this rack for a while and read some of the reviews on this site. There was concern with the straps being long enough for my large Jumbo Jim tires on my fat bike. I went to the local shop and the salesman showed me how to lengthen the straps, by pulling them out of the rear tray and re-inserting them higher on the tray. VERY EASY! When I run my road bikes, I shorten the strap; when I run my Fat Bikes, I lengthen the strap.

This sealed my decision and I have been stoked since. Even bought the rack to make it a 4 bike.

I have had other racks in the past; and this one is the best ever made!

GREAT JOB THULE!!!

Outstanding for Fat Bikes

By

from Panama City Beach, FL

Pros

  • Highly Adjustable
  • Sturdy

Cons

  • Pricey

Best Uses

  • Fat Bike

Comments about Thule T2 Pro XT:

This is the most versatile bike rack I have ever owned. Assembled and mounted up in minutes. I tote two 5" tire fatty e-bikes at 55 lbs each or combination of MTB's with no difficulty. For the people who say the rear tire strap is not long enough to secure fat tires, look closer. You just move it up to the next strap holder slot for 4"+ tires. To be clear, I am writing about the T2 Pro XT which is an improvement over the T2 and T2 Pro. If you are willing to pay a bit more, you will be happy with this rack.

Outstanding Rack, But One Big Problem

By

from Minneapolis, MN

Pros

  • Easy to use, sturdy, works great for most bikes

Cons

  • Straps for Rear Tires are too short

Best Uses

Comments about Thule T2 Pro XT:

Overall, this is a great rack. Only problem is that the rear tire straps aren't long enough for a fat bike with 4.8" tires. The straps need to be 2-3 in. longer. Works great for road bikes, mtn bikes, and fat bikes with "narrow" fat tires.
