Matthias said that it’s all about LIVING! We have only one chance to make it an epic ride, but if you do it right, once is enough!
On top of the line
Matthias remember his first ski BASE jump, which was also the first ski BASE jump off Mt Hood. He was standing on top of the line he was going to ski, the snow was firm, the wind was calm and his heart was pounding in his chest. He suddenly heard the cameraman on the radio saying “ready whenever you are”. At that moment, he took the biggest breath of his life. As he counted down, his heart rate slowed down and he dropped in. He did it.
Finding your way
I was super fortunate to have skiing as a foundation of my life at an early age. Skiing fueled my hunger for life, love for the mountains and most importantly it gave me a direction. Once you know where you are going, you just adapt along the way.
