Thule welcomes Reacha to the family!

At the start of July, Thule Group proudly acquired the German company Reacha (good goods tegernsee GmbH), marking an exciting new chapter for both brands. Reacha brings a line of innovative bike trailers that empower people to explore sustainably—whether cycling to the beach with water sports gear or navigating the city for grocery shopping.

Reacha operations are based in Germany, with most sales currently in Europe through direct-to-consumer channels. As cargo bike trailers continue to gain popularity, this collaboration allows Thule to expand into an attractive and growing market segment. The Reacha products will soon be integrated into the Thule product portfolio and distributed through our global network, reaching even more outdoor enthusiasts.

About Reacha: a modular, sustainable innovation

At Thule, we believe in helping people bring what they care about most wherever life takes them. The innovative bike trailers from Reacha perfectly complement our mission by making sustainable, active lifestyles even more accessible. We are excited to combine our expertise with the ingenuity of Reacha, offering new solutions for adventures both big and small.

Innovative by design

The modular, adjustable design opens the door to endless possibilities. As new components are developed, the trailers evolve to meet the changing needs of their users. Tool-free assembly and adaptable dimensions make Reacha a flexible solution for daily life and outdoor adventures alike.

Creative sustainability

The first Reacha prototype was born from a creative reuse of old components, built with windsurf booms, wooden slats, and discarded bike wheels. This legacy of repurposing materials remains central to our story, inspiring us to help users reduce waste and find new ways to extend the life of existing gear.

Efficiency with a purpose

A minimalist design reduces material use while ensuring durability and versatility. Countless hours of engineering, prototyping, and rigorous testing have optimized every detail. With 85% of components sourced from Europe, we minimize transport emissions while maintaining high environmental and ethical standards.
