Thule introduces the Thule RoundTrip MTB duffel 70L, a purpose-built bike gear bag designed for dedicated cyclists who need more space, smarter organization, and easy access to bulky riding equipment. Created with mountain bikers in mind, this new duffel is built to handle everything from full-face helmets and protective pads to cool-weather layers and ride essentials, keeping gear organized, protected, and ready for every ride.
“Mountain biking often means traveling with more gear, more layers, and more protection. With the RoundTrip MTB duffel 70L, we focused on giving riders the space and flexibility they need, while making it easy to see, access, and organize everything they bring. It’s a bag designed to simplify life before and after the ride.” Eric Hassett, Sr. Product Manager, Sports-specific Bags & Technical Packs at Thule.
With its generous 70-liter capacity and highly adaptable interior, the Thule RoundTrip MTB duffel 70L is designed primarily for gravity-focused riders, including downhill, enduro, and bike park cyclists who travel with bulkier equipment such as full-face helmets, protective pads, and layered riding gear. At the same time, it also suits endurance cyclists who pack for longer trips or travel with more gear overall, such as extra apparel, spares, or cold-weather layers, where organization and easy access matter just as much, even if the equipment itself is less bulky.
Designed for bulky gear and flexible packing
The Thule RoundTrip MTB duffel 70L features a customizable interior with fully removable divider panels, allowing riders to tailor the layout to their specific setup. Bulky pads, helmets, layered clothing, and riding kits can be stored securely and separately, while dedicated divider panels help protect goggles and wrap-around riding glasses. Panel pockets keep smaller essentials neatly organized and easy to reach.
Clear visibility and effortless access
A wide spring wire opening allows the bag to stand open on its own, providing clear visibility and quick access to everything inside. This open design makes packing and unpacking simple, whether at home, in the parking lot, or at the bike park. One-hand carry functionality lets riders grab and move the bag while it’s open, making transitions faster at the trailhead.
Versatile carry options for travel and trail days
Designed to adapt to different journeys, the Thule RoundTrip MTB duffel 70L offers multiple carry options, including backpack straps and durable grab handles for comfortable transport. A dedicated standing mat provides a clean, dry surface for changing shoes, while exterior and front pockets keep valuables, nutrition, tools, and small items secure and easy to access.
The Thule RoundTrip MTB duffel 70L will be available in February 2026.
