Return policy

Thule takes quality seriously. If you need to return an item, please see our Return policy and Return instructions below. For any damaged or defective product please consult our Thule Guarantee.


30-day returns

  • Original shipping charges not refundable
  • Refund issued after return is received and inspected
  • Some items are not eligible (see exclusions below)

If the product is not in original condition or packaging or has otherwise been handled to a greater extent than was necessary to determine its properties and functions, our team reserves the right to make a reasonable price deduction corresponding to the reduction in value that occurred in connection with your handling of the product. If the return is not approved due to the product's condition, the cost of returning it back to you will be at your charge. Any rights and remedies given to you under this policy are in addition to, and do not limit, modify or restrict any of your rights under the Thule Guarantee or Thule Extended Guarantee and your consumer guarantee rights and remedies provided under the Australian Consumer Law. For defective or damaged product, please refer to the process set out in our warranty page.


Return instructions

1. Contact consumer service

Simply contact consumer service and fill in delivery claim form

2. Return slip

Please print the return label provided by Consumer Service

3. Package the item

Securely pack the item using the original packaging, if possible, and ensure it is sealed properly. Protect the goods to avoid damage during transit, as this may affect the full refund amount. Place printed return label on the package.

4. Send the return

If you are instructed to drop the product at the 'Collection Point', you must take the product to AusPost drop-off for larger shipments, the product will be picked up from your home, and you will be contacted by the forwarder to arrange collection.

5. Get your refund

Once your return is received and approved at our warehouse, we’ll issue a refund to your original payment method. Refunds are typically processed within 3–5 days.

The refund amount will be the full purchase price of the product unless you dropped the product to the Collection Point or Thule picked up the product. In this case, Thule will deduct the applicable fee set out below from the purchase price.

Terms of the Thule return policy

  • Returns and refunds are only accepted on items purchased via Thule.com/en-au
  • For items not purchased from Thule.com/en-au, please contact the purchase location to review its return policy and procedure.
  • Items must be returned within 30 days of delivery date, in new condition, in original packaging, and with all included accessories.
  • Return Shipping Cost to be deducted from the final refund
  • All returns are subjected to inspection upon receipt
  • Refunds will be processed after the returned item has been received and inspected

Not eligible for returns
  • Used or opened items that cannot be resold at full price
  • Custom/personalized items
  • Sale/Outlet Orders
