This commitment to inclusivity and empowerment led to the creation of California’s first pumptrack in Los Angeles, a significant milestone made possible by $1.2 million in donations. This innovative space is designed to serve as a community beacon, with projections indicating it will attract 250,000 visitors each year, predominantly children. It’s more than a place for biking; it’s a nurturing ground for potential, providing new opportunities for a generation of cyclists who might not have dared to dream of careers as World Cup racers, engineers, or designers in the cycling world.
