        Comments about Thule Slipstream 887XT:

Bought the Thule 887XT Slopstream to go with the Thule X500 Pro. The bolts that come with the 887XT are not long enough to fit onto to Thule X500, so you have to BUY different bolts.

My slipstream doesn't "slide" as advertised. It is very stiff and the customer service is "non-responsive. Not impressed

          Comments about Thule Slipstream 887XT:

Two problems: if your under 6'0 tall, and have a 12'or longer kayak, you won't have the leverage to lift the stern up to the balance point. Also, the pads are not slick, so the kayak doesn't glide up easily.

            Comments about Thule Slipstream 887XT:

I am a 5'2" 113 pound woman with a 56 pound 16' kayak. I can load the kayak all by myself with the Slipstream! With this product it is all technic and not muscle-power! My kayak rides in wind much better than with my old saddle system, too.
