Pack Will Break. Do Not Buy

By

from FL

Comments about Thule Perspektiv Daypack:

My first of these backpacks broke in 2 weeks. After returning and thinking it to be a fluke, the second back broke in the same exact location. The top compartment seams are barely glued together, with no reinforcement. If you plan on accessing your laptop, or storing anything in the top, this will likely break the seams, and render the top compartment useless.
I really wish this part didnt break, as I love the bag otherwise, but for the price, is not ok for it to break so quickly

Perfect Daypack for Traveling

Cons

    Comments about Thule Perspektiv Daypack:

This daypack is perfect for toting your camera and necessary accessories as well as some personal items. I recently bought this for a 10 day trip to Peru. I just returned from this trip, and used this backpack every day. It held my Nikon D3000 with 18-55mm lens along with my 55-200mm lens. I also stored necessary items such as an extra battery, battery charger, extra SD cards, cleaning supplies, and even my Go Pro in the camera compartment. In the top compartment, I stored a hat, a long sleeve t shirt, sunglasses, headphones, wallet, kindle, and some snacks on a daily basis. I was able to use the clip strap on the right side of the backpack to roll up my rain coat and attach it to the side. Also, the rain cover that came with it was very handy to quickly throw over the backpack when it began to rain, and quickly stow away when the rain stopped. The only negative thing I have to say, is that the material began to fray near the camera compartment zipper as well as the other edges around the zippers, and only after 10 days of use. The material should definitely be a little stronger around these areas (see attached images). Overall, a great daypack, slim and perfect for traveling, able to hold all necessary equipment without being bulky.

        Comments about Thule Perspektiv Daypack:

This is the nicest camera backpack I have ever used. It's comfortable well made and it works. I carry a Nikon D750 with a 14-24 mm, 35mm f2, 60mm micro, 105 macro ais, 50mm 1.8 and a 28- 80mm in the main compartment and a 70-200mm vr and a Tc17 converter in the top compartment and a monopod on the side. It has nice wide shoulder straps well padded back and a rain cover. It's a nice neat very well thought out backpack with style.
