Thule is introducing the Thule Sun & Wind Tarp, a versatile and easy-to-use accessory designed to provide protection from the sun and wind while maintaining optimal airflow. Compatible with all Thule Chariot multisport trailers and Thule Urban Glide strollers, this tarp is an essential companion for active families who enjoy outdoor adventures.
Protection without compromise
Crafted from UPF 50+ fabric, the Thule Sun & Wind Tarp effectively shields children from harmful UV rays and strong winds while keeping the interior cool and comfortable. Its light-colored material reflects sunlight, preventing heat buildup, while the integrated mesh panel promotes airflow, reducing the risk of the tarp acting like a sail in windy conditions. Made with PFAS-free materials, this tarp is a safe and sustainable choice for environmentally conscious parents.
Effortless installation and reliable stability
The Thule Sun & Wind Tarp is designed for quick and tool-free installation. It attaches seamlessly to the universal accessory bar on Thule Chariot and Thule Urban Glide models using clips, a telescopic pole, and durable aluminum tent pegs. The telescopic pole adds height for better coverage, while the tent pegs provide secure anchoring, ensuring reliable performance even in breezy conditions.
Compact, portable, and ready when you are
Convenience is key for families on the go, and the Thule Sun & Wind Tarp is designed for easy storage. It packs neatly into the organizer of a Thule Chariot trailer or under a Thule Urban Glide stroller, making it readily available whenever extra protection is needed. The generous coverage ensures comfort for children, while the mesh window allows parents to maintain visibility and awareness of their surroundings.
“At Thule, we have a long history of designing high-quality tents and shelters, and we use that expertise to create sustainable solutions that enhance outdoor experiences. The Thule Sun & Wind Tarp is a perfect example—combining durable materials, simple installation, and superior protection to help families enjoy the outdoors comfortably, no matter the weather.”
