For us, Adventure Design is all about creating great products that make outdoor exploration easier.

Adventure Design is a concept that has evolved over the years, and our roof platform Thule Caprock is a great example of this. Designed to work well on an adventure, it is at the same time made to be used on contemporary premium cars for a variety of uses. The flexibility that separates this roof platform from a more basic roof basket comes from the T-tracks – a solution that lets you transport a wide range of cargo and sports carriers. This makes Thule Caprock an extremely flexible solution for active families.

By visualising shape and direction with accentuated edges, we create powerful designs by combining them with tensioned surfaces that give a dynamic look. Thule Caprock is a great example of this.

We try to find harmony and balance in the design. The product should feel confident, not aggressive, and its parts should be proportional to each other, says Henrik Eriksson, Global Design DIrector.
