Accessories for Thule EasyFold XT 2

Ships with soft screws and they strip too easily.

Ships with soft screws and they strip too easily. using a regular allan wrench... the screws stripped when removing the 2 to 1 inch hitch adapter. hopefully I can find some better quailty to screws and a stripped

Good product but with reservations.

* The horizontal bar of the vertical attachment structure is too low for regular and e-bikes that can only use top tube clamping. An adjustable height horizontal bar arrangement should be an option. The loading ramp is unnecessary for most riders and should be an option.

Great carrier! Lousy ramp!

The carrier is perfect for this 75-year-old and his heavy bike--a 35-lb Electra Townie with a 16-lb, electric-assist Copenhagen Wheel mounted on the back to help me enjoy a lot more years of riding. I'm totally happy with how easily the carrier mounts to the receiver. And very happy with the way the frame clamps and wheel straps keep the bike solidly attached to the carrier. What I'm really, really unhappy with is the loading ramp--an absolute necessity for wheeling a heavy bike like mine up onto the carrier. It's made of aluminum: much too thin and lightweight; prone to twisting and warping; with hooks that easily slip out of their mounting slits in the wheel wells. As far as I'm concerned, light weight is not a necessity for the ramp. Something strong and stable enough to do the job is. Steel comes to mind. Please offer a steel ramp as an accessory!
