Anti Sway

I find the bike rack fairly easy to put on on the trunk, however I am having the same issue with the anti-sway piece. It does not snap in to place securely, and keeps falling off. Thus, my bike sways much more than I like. I notice that the sway piece on the newer model rack seem to snap in to place better, and you can hear the click.

Good fit for Toyota hatchback, but ...

This is my first bike rack, so there's probably a lot I need to learn. For example don't stand under the rack when you're closing the back hatch (like another reviewer, I got conked). But here's my take. The design is kind on the car, pretty simple and versatile, which is why my favorite bike shop ordered it for me. There are two problems though. One: it's not designed for small people. I am a small woman, so it's pretty heavy for me and the dials or knobs that tighten the cables are hard on small hands if you want the cables good and taut. Two: as other reviews note, those no-sway cages need a redesign. They pop off, or get stuck in the wrong position, and when they do behave and let you secure them, a strong wind on the highway will twist them out of shape so they no longer do the job. Then the bike starts to lay over. Creepy. The bungee cord idea from one reviewer might be the way to go, but it's a disappointing kluge given the price of the rack.

Fast and easy

Easy to mount quickly and get on the road. As another reviewer pointed out, the Anti-Sway Cages fall off easily. When challenged by the force of freeway speeds, they bend at the attachment point, rendering them useless and allowing the bike to start "sailing" (the wheels lifting away from the car). I'm solving the problem by using bungees to anchor the lower part of the bike to the vertical support of the rack.
