No I would not.

The rack is very loose in the 2" receiver. Not sure I trust it. Also very difficult to put four bikes on the rack. The adapter bar may help, but I have already spent about $500 on this and not willing to spend anymore for something that may not help.

Nice product, might get something different though

I've used this rack now for almost three years and I have only two real complaints. The rack is designed to hold four bikes, but they must be pretty narrow (like road or cyclocross or triathlon bikes) to be able to get four on at one time. I ride a mountain bike so when myself and anymore than one other friend ride, it's a struggle to get even three mountain bikes on it. Also difficult to use the cages with mountain bikes. My other complaint is that it's heavy. Otherwise it's been a good purchase, everything else works as it should.

This rack is great for entry into the back of a Toyota 4Runner and other such hatchback SUVs. The assembly directions that come with the rack are pretty barebones, but overall the rack was moderately easy to assemble. We used the 2" receiver hitch adapter that came with the rack. Once I installed the rack on my vehicle, I felt like it was still pretty loose and that my bikes would be really beat up if we were to drive down a bumpy road. It took both my husband and I working together to tighten the rack up. I moved it up and down and side to side while he tightened the knob. This seemed to help tremendously. I wish this tip had been included in the directions. Another tip that I found out later, was that our full suspension mountain bikes don't fit on the rack. It was necessary for us to purchase two additional frame adapters (982XT) in order to make this rack work for us. Another critical element that I wish had been included somewhere either on the website or in the directions.
