Thule welcomes Reacha to the family!

At the start of July, Thule Group proudly acquired the German company Reacha (good goods tegernsee GmbH), marking an exciting new chapter for both brands. Reacha brings a line of innovative bike trailers that empower people to explore sustainably—whether cycling to the beach with water sports gear or navigating the city for grocery shopping.

Reacha operations are based in Germany, with most sales currently in Europe through direct-to-consumer channels. As cargo bike trailers continue to gain popularity, this collaboration allows Thule to expand into an attractive and growing market segment. The Reacha products will soon be integrated into the Thule product portfolio and distributed through our global network, reaching even more outdoor enthusiasts.

A trailer for both hand and bike use

The Reacha bike trailers are designed with versatility at their core. They function equally well as hand carts and bicycle trailers, making them perfect for everything from city errands to beach trips. The smart frame and drawbar design allow for comfortable manual pulling, even over longer distances. With the Bike Connector, users can seamlessly transform their hand cart into a bike trailer in seconds—no tools required.

Modular design for endless possibilities

What sets Reacha apart is its modular construction. Thanks to intuitive snap locks, each trailer can be quickly adapted to fit different needs. Switch to a different drawbar, adjust the loading area, or expand your setup—all without tools. This flexibility ensures that every Reacha can grow with its user, providing solutions for a variety of activities and adventures.

Innovative by design

Creative sustainability

The first Reacha prototype was born from a creative reuse of old components, built with windsurf booms, wooden slats, and discarded bike wheels. This legacy of repurposing materials remains central to our story, inspiring us to help users reduce waste and find new ways to extend the life of existing gear.
