Thule ProRide winner of test for roof mounted bike carriers.
Thule ProRide 591 came out as number 1 in a roof mounted bike carrier test recently performed by the German ACE Lenkrad Auto Club Europa. The result was released in mid February and among the five bike carriers that were tested the Thule ProRide 591 got the highest ranking.
The other bike carriers tested were: d Frey Classic, Atera Giro AF, Fabbri Bici 2000 Alu, Mercedes new Alu Style and MontBlanc Discovery.The Bike carriers were subject to various tests, with the main categories: Handling, mounting, driving and City Crash. For the test winner ProRide 591, ACE Lenkrad specially highlighted the good test results of quality, mounting and bike anti-theft.
ACE Lenkrad is one of German biggest auto clubs with over 550 000 members in Germany. "This test once again shows that we have the best roof mounted bike carrier on the market ", says Andreas Ljung, Int. Product Manager for Accessories.The Thule ProRide 591 is Thule's strongest weapon for the high market segment.
