Thule Pacific 600 - Winner of ADAC roobox test
The Thule Pacific 600 roofbox manufactured by Thule, the world leader within the Sports and Utility Transportation industry, has been selected as the winner of a comparative roofbox test carried out by German ADAC, Europeans biggest car owner membership club. In total, eight roof boxes were tested.
The test measured and analysed several criteria with a special focus on design, handling, driving and CityCrash tests. The Thule Pacific 600 received high score ratings in categories such as craftsmanship, mounting method and water resistance. Other advantages mentioned were the box's light weight and Thule's 5 year warranty.
"Thule has previously won several ADAC tests in the bike carrier segment and we are now happy to see that we also stand out when it comes to roofboxes", says Michael Mitschke, International Product Group Manager Boxes for Thule. "We consider ADAC to be one of the most important testing organisations, with a high focus on safety and an excellent, reputation in the automotive world, and we are therefore very happy with the results of this test. We see it as confirmation of Thule's high quality standard, indicating that we are well positioned in the market", he concluded. The Thule Pacific range was launched in 2007. It consists of five models in various sizes and is equipped with special Thule features such as the Fast-Grip quick mounting system, the Dual-Force function for easy opening and closing and the central safety locking system.
