Interview

What elements of the nature do you work with/use/profit from in your sport?

In cyclocross we have to deal with whatever comes our way, whether it's rain, snow, cold or mud. It's like having another teammate when you're feeling good - or another rival when you're weak.

Most awesome adventure of your life, so far..?

Riding 500mi over 5-days thru the congested East Coast corridor on the Ride on Washington. Which raises money and awareness for Bikes Belong.

Most epic sport experience of your life, so far..?

Probably riding my CX bike around an F1 car in full tire-squealing donut mode.

Other interests besides your sport?

I'm a sucker for anything with two-wheels but anything outside like hiking, showshoeing, nordic skiing or travel.

What makes you happy?

It's a work in progress - surprising myself with more than expected success or dreaming big and working towards the goal, however crazy it may be.
