Momentarily a new standard with higher demands is being finalized to be officially released at the end of 2006. Also leading car magazines and associations, like German Stiftung Warentest, have already tested products according to the norm, comprising City Crash.

 

The Thule group, having improved the safety standards of its products continuously over the years, has already today in all product segments products that fulfill the demands in the proposed new City Crash norm. As Thule considers consumer safety as paramount, we will respond to any other new safety demand as soon as it might occur.

 

The product safety is also dependent of the correct fitting and mounting of the product. The importance of clear and user friendly mounting instructions therefore play a crucial role in the product development at Thule.
